25 year old Canadian entrepreneur disrupts mobile advertising market

I’m very excited about the 25-year-old Brian Wong, a Canadian entrepreneur and the founder of Kiip. When he was 19 years old he started this advertising platform and he raised 30 million on funding. Brian was irritated about all the mobile advertisements and he decided things had to go different. When you achieve something on your phone or in real life (like a run in Runkeeper) with an app that uses Kiip you receive an award. This can be a voucher, a coupon or a nice videoclip. Companies like Coca Cola pay Kiip a dollar for every ‘moment’. About a billion people see the ads and around 10 percent click on it. So that means Kiip makes around 100 million dollars each month. Incredible!
